Over the years, Gaia Environment has been appointed as the trusted carbon offsetting sustainability partner for numerous high-profile events. The most recent being the Singapore National Day Parade 2021 in which we sponsored RECs to cover the event's electricity consumption. Other highlights include: the 2018 New Years Eve Countdown Event and 2018 Asia Pacific Carbon Forum organised by IETA.

Gaia Environment has been invited to speak and participate in local, regional and international events and forums. For instance, in the 2018 Asia Pacific Climate Week, we appeared on the panel to speak about emissions trading and market insight.

Since 2018, Gaia Environment has started to offset our own carbon footprint generated from the company's overall operations. This is in line with our mission of getting ahead in sustainability with real low carbon actions. We are currenly receiving carbon credits from a municipal waste treatment project in China. The project generates electricity from waste management technology that is more efficient and less polluting than conventional landfills. We are working hard in achieving carbon neutrality in the near future.
